There’s a point, way out, past the present tense,
where our weeks away make a lot less sense.
But for now, we work with our time apart,
with a tired mind, with a hungry heart
For when your wheels roll home,
when your wheels roll home,
when your wheels roll home,
no more you roam.
Don’t go before you leave,
every second we got, we gotta make believe
That you’ll be right back, like you never left,
like you mailed yourself to your return address
In a self-stamped envelope,
you’ll revolve ‘round the globe,
But when your wheels roll home,
when your wheels roll home,
when your wheels roll home,
no more you roam.

I had the pleasure of co-producing ILYSM. This record is a behemoth, dealing with John Ross' harrowing health experiences, which he has sublimated into something beautiful and deeply relatable. The Antlers

This is undoubtedly my single favorite album of all time. It feels like such a perfect culmination of all the themes and ideas Fleet Foxes has been working with since 2008. It answers many of the questions found on both Helplessness Blues and Crack-Up, and represents an incredible maturation and growth in Robin Pecknold's perspective. Their other albums are certainly masterpieces, but this, in my opinion, is their magnum opus. I doubt it will be recognized as such in its time. isaiah_stuart
